This is a realistic tree. Its pine needles have some squareness around the edges upon closer inspection, but this isn't as obvious as some of the cheaper trees, whose needles resemble green streaks from a paper shredder. The lights are not actually "embedded" in the tree as claimed; Rather, it is pre-decorated by the typical garlands - with a visible outer wire (albeit in a matching colour). The base of the tree is heavy and stable. The tree I received is skewed, with no adjustment. An air quality meter shows low emissions of unknown volatile organic compounds. Perhaps that tree will be exposed to sunlight for a day or two to degas the tree until VOC emissions are below detectable levels.
