Pre-wash suitable in my opinion
My son is big, he just turned 7 years old. Not all size 8 will fit as they are designed for a small fit. This size 8 tee hangs 1 1/2" to 2" above the waistband. It also offers enough space in terms of width; for his slim body. This is a great fit!

- This shirt fits normal but is too stiff and scratchy. Try the Hanes brand instead. Much softer.
