I have other electric coffee grinders. I like her. This one is different. It has no button to press. You just turn it over and it grinds automatically. Although this might not be the best feature. The salt or pepper container is larger, has a large opening and is easier to reach. Other mechanical mills are at the end where salt and pepper flow out. So unless you use a lid (which I don't always do), the salt and pepper ends up on the counter or table. You can't flip them over and put them on the top edge because that's where the button is. It doesn't have a button, so it's mounted on top. It also has a cap for the dispenser hole, but if you don't use it you still won't get salt and pepper on the table when you put it down. Also, the included spoon is a coffee measuring spoon, so it has a dual purpose. This is my new favourite.
