I like that this allows you to have multiple locations/locations with different types of firearms all under one roof (or at least within close proximity). It's easy for people who don't know much about guns or firearm safety but want their own personal protection to be able to use it effectively without needing an expert around them. There does not seem to really be any downside here other than cost - maybe if they could make it easier to manage the storage when more then just 1 person needs access? We're using smart weapon management so employees can store handguns in our secure facility along side rifles which we keep locked up during working hours only accessible by authorized personnel after work hours.
