Review on CDN DT450X R Digital Pocket Thermometer by Michele Smith

A good, usable digital thermometer. It takes 4 or 5 seconds for the reading to stabilize. My only complaint is that it doesn't have an auto-off feature. So if you forget to turn it off, it will drain the battery. I like the color, it's easy to find. I used to use the Therma-Pen which is MUCH more expensive, reads faster and appears higher quality, but two of these broke in a three year period so I made another one. choice this time.
