Review on 🐾 Winix HR900, 5-Stage True HEPA Filtration Air Purifier for Pets, 300 Sq. Ft, White by Amber Byrd

A few months ago I would have given this unit 5 stars. It's sleek, quiet, and did an amazing job. For many cats I have changed the filters (direct from Winex) after 6 months, although they could probably last longer. I bought from Amazon at the market which said they would fit but when they arrived they didn't fit so I had to use the more expensive factory products. The last time I turned it on after moving to another room, the unit's fan would turn on for about 5 seconds and then turn off and blink red. I have followed winix instructions for their repair/repair assistance and now my fourth time remains unanswered. I will never buy from a company that doesn't make their own warranties and doesn't have customer service. Perhaps this message will encourage them to contact me, but until then I'll stick with 1 star. To update. After making another warranty request and posting it here, I happened to receive a UPS delivery email. They sent me a new pad and I'm very grateful so I'm resetting my rating to 5 because the pad is excellent. However, I will say that I was willing to send my broken unit in for repair and even pay if needed, but no one has ever contacted me. A simple phone call or email would have solved all of these issues, but I'm still grateful to them for what they did.
