USA size- I am a heavy woman and based on sizing chart I have a woman 12 man 11. The shoe is a tiny bit small. My great toe print is concerning, although it doesn’t create pain. My reason for buying this particular pair of shoes was, I thought that the design across the toe was a bit firmer to provide protection for the toe. It is just as soft as the rest of the shoe. I’ve not worn them into the water yet just simply tried it on. Debating, if I wear them what is the likely hood they will rip at the toe? or should I just return them. The hassle! Otherwise, they seems to be a good water shoe and if they do rip at the toe I would buy this brand again just a larger size. It looks as if your foot would drain well and the shoe would be able to breathe easy to not set up any kind of fungi or bacteria growth. (If properly cared for) I believe this shoe is good enough for the occasional water doll, with a decent price.Overall. This shoe is good for pool use or at the beach (maybe). It isn’t going to protect your feet from large hard obstacles. It provides not arch support it’s just the same as walking barefoot, it fits like a sock, just has a thin rubber bottom with small holes in the bottom to release water.1. I would not walk any trails.2. I would use a better shoe for kayaking.3. I would say it’s for occasional use not daily.I am never barefoot, unless I’m in the shower or in the bed.
