I was looking for a way to connect 2 VOIPs together, which is not possible at the moment without spending money on a mixer ($$$), so I chose a cheap alternative. It was more than expected, both chatlines can hear each other and I can talk too and we can chat in game with crossplay support. My setup for this included headphones with an aux port, then this aux Y-cable, a 4-pin aux cable to the phone (enables speech echo cancellation and other microphone options), and another 4-pin aux cable to the PS4 Controller (only chatting in the options because they can hear the sounds of your PS4 game) Cons: The voice has echo/reverberation (which is why I suggest fixing the discord mic) and adjust the PS4 mic volume. Also, the sound of the PS4/console must be routed to the AV receiver through the AV receiver or other headphones. It's cheap and efficient. I'm using this for Dead By Daylight with a computer friend, one of the few games with no in-game chat.
