My hairdresser uses Vodana hair straighteners (but professional models) and they work so well I decided to give this a try. It heats up very quickly and runs very quietly. Not many creases are left at the top until you really stink at it and flip it in such a way that it can't help but leave traces of creases in your hair (no offense). It makes hair very smooth without killing or splitting the ends. Haven't tried curling the hair or making slight waves with it yet, but the neck is thin enough that I think it will be easy. The tip stays cool as advertised so it's very comfortable and easy to close and slide down with your other hand. I definitely recommend this product!
