5 stars for flush ceiling mount. Easy connection with Panasonic PT-AE7000U. Very well built, sturdy, has lots of fine adjustment options but does not come with ceiling mounting screws. 1 star if an extension column is required. Bought a Chief 12" expansion speaker and tried 3 different speakers and none cut the manufacturers recommended 4 threads. U-Bracket or ceiling tile. Thought it might be user error but a Home Depot employee found that the threads were also poorly trimmed.So a great product if it's a flush ceiling mount and no extension column is required and until chef fixes the flow issue, a frustrating and failing mount if an extension column is required.Went with a Peerless PPA mount by the way.
