Review on Stanley Proto JSCV07 Ratcheting Combination by Mike Devine

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Very good open-end wrench

I bought this wrench to replace a broken one from another manufacturer. I have used this key in my work and it seems to be of very good quality. The other broken key was also of good quality but the other company downgraded their new keys. I decided to look for another brand key as a replacement and when I saw that the Proto had that key I decided to give it a try. It has a reversible ratchet on the end of the box which is nice. Overall I think this wrench will last for many years as it is thicker than the other wrenches. (0.161" compared to 0.129" for the old key). The button is smooth and feels good in the hand. I also like the black finish. When I used the wrench it worked beautifully. 2019 update. After almost 7 years of almost weekly use, I've finally worn the open end of the wrench enough to need replacing. I couldn't use the boxed end due to gap issues. In general, I was satisfied with this key.
