The black base coat was great! Only one coat was needed, and that's very important. It's also very important that the metallic polish goes on with one coat as well. Not only were most of the colors disappointingly similar (they're not the different, vivid colors as advertised), they're so sheer, I could barely see the cat's eye effect. I couldn't possibly add another coat because I don't like my nails to look all thick and gloppy. I was too excited to use these, and now I'm too excited to toss them.
- Great kit. Just need practice with the magnets.
