So many salad dressing shakers try to do too much. They're covered in measurements or recipes, or have flimsy plastic kneading mechanisms or lids that can't be removed once greasy. Or flow. All of this only complicates what should be easy. This shaker does it right and looks great on the table. The shaker consists of three parts: a bottle, a center cap/spout and a top cap. Remove the cap to fill. Replace cap and cap to mix and shake. To pour, remove the top cap and pour through the spout. The spout even has a double rim to catch drips. If you have a larger dressing that won't fit through the spout, remove the stopper and pour straight from the bottle. Because the lid is flat on top, you can flip the cork on the lid and put it back on without damaging anything. I wash mine by pouring hot soapy water on it and shaking it. Rinse the parts with hot water and you're done.
