Low Cost GE Profile Dishwasher Repair
One day the dishwasher stopped in the middle of a cycle and started beeping. I turned it off and on again but still couldn't stop the beeping. After some troubleshooting and research online, I found that the beep is an indicator that the dishwasher thinks the door is open (when it was actually closed and locked). People on the internet recommended replacing the interlock switch (which was an exact replacement for this part). After turning off the dishwasher, it works again. The new part fits and fits perfectly. It was nice to save a $200 support call.
