Absolute crap, didn't even go through the 2nd pillar and it was in slightly gritty sandy soil 1/4 mile from beach not many big rocks around. I had no problem installing the rest of the tent pegs. manually and with another stake if a little more torque is needed! So I wasted my time and money on a useless product that should make everything easier. So beware they don't even harden the steel for the tool, such a simple step in the manufacturing process that the product would likely survive!
