I love socks and I love fine knitting and sometimes I like projects that come together fairly quickly. This wonderful book fills all of those needs with an amazing set of projects that are really helpful. Socks are of course included, as are gloves, mittens, scarves, shawls, various baby items, sweaters and bags. There are a few homeware projects that aren't that inspiring, and a mattress topper could usefully be added, but overall there are at least a dozen projects I want to knit in this book for myself and as gifts. There's even instructions for making a small dog sweater! The instructions are clear and concise and include both basic and more advanced construction methods - along with great templates, this book is a good tool for skill development. Changing threads is also easy with this book, as long as the measurements are carefully controlled and the exact weights of the threads suggested are carefully considered. I swapped the yarn in my stash for a scarf (regardless of thickness) and socks where thickness is very important.
