Review on Smokehouse Products Black Pepper Jerky by Michael Jackson

I bought this pack of Teriyaki Jerky Seasoning primarily because it was the first variety I could find at Revain that I wasn't paying that much for had to shipping as with spices. That was pretty much a selling point. The packets of spices arrived as solid stones, not a powder that I could rub dry. I mean *completely impossible* to beat. Instead, I cracked open a brick and dissolved it in water to make a pickle marinade (it wasn't easy, but the microwave helped a bit). It worked so I can appreciate the taste. Everything is OK. nothing amazing, but less salty than the last pickled spice I tried (it came with a dehydrator I caught at Christmas). Good enough to use the other 10 packs but I doubt I will order this product again.
