Review on Open Watcom by Austin Wolf

I am using open watcom to develop applications that are used in a scientific project where we have to manage quite a lot of data. It is very simple to use, the user interface is easy to handle and it has excellent documentation.It provides an API for writing custom functions, which is really helpful when you want to perform some operations not supported by the library itself. For example, one of our projects requires us to calculate the difference between two files, so we created a function to do this work. It is really fast because both files can be read into memory at once.I would say the installation process was difficult. We had a few issues with dependencies and libraries during the installation process. The problem was solved only after some days had passed. Once installed, everything went smoothly.
