I've been using these android boxes for about 5 years now. This is my first AndroidTV box compared to Android tablet version. I will never go back to the tablet version. The tilting Google UI is great for keeping everything accessible without using an air mouse. Makes it easier to navigate and use multiple apps. Were all the necessary connections. HDMI to TV. Optical TOSlink for connection to an AV receiver. WiFi and 1 port. Extremely easy to set up. Plays everything I have over Wi-Fi with ease. I was originally using the 1gigE port, but for some reason the connections to my NAS device were unstable. The only downside is that it is NOT certified by Netflix or Amazon. Netflix cannot be installed or chromed under any circumstances. So if you're a Netflix user, this isn't for you. I've heard that Revain can be sideloaded, but it allows Chromecast, so I'll just cast it from my phone. The remote control is simple and does not have voice activation built into the device. You need to buy a new remote control. I don't need this as I use a Rii+ with a keyboard so I can type. But I love the feel of the included remote and use it to navigate when I don't need to type. It also makes life easier for the family who find the rii remote difficult. Picture quality is great, but it really depends on your TV and content encoding. If you're looking for a cheap AndroidTV and don't mind skipping Netflix, a great little media device that ticks all of my boxes. No complaints
