At the moment this mount seems indestructible. I was a bit skeptical at first because it felt too light in plastic and the strap didn't feel super secure or strong, but damn I was wrong. I bought it to keep my phone on my bike so I can use the navigation and see who is calling me on my helmet via my bluetooth system or change the music. Mind you my bike is outside so this mount has been exposed to the elements for as long as I've had it (about 10 months). As fate would have it, another driver error caused me to slide my motorcycle down the road at about 45 mph. I remember going down, I could still hear the song I was listening to from the moment I went down to the moment I took off my helmet. My phone was still securely attached to the mount without a single scratch. I would recommend this mount to anyone who rides a motorcycle, especially for the quality at a VERY good price.
