The gauge is well built, accurate and very reasonably priced. I was surprised and pleased to find a tape with diameter specs well below the cost of industrial quality. The only improvement I would suggest is to the end of the hook, which is set for normal linear measurements. On the diameter side, "0" starts way behind the hook, so you need to line up "0", see photo. If possible the clip should be modified so that it can be used on either side of the band and then the diameter measurements will of course start with the clip. After good communication with the manufacturer, I realized that changing the clip and starting with "0" would not be the best solution for most users.
