these give me good compression for my weight lifting sessions at the gym and that's the most important thing especially on leg day! also, they are very colorful and get lots of attention and compliments. they are sized differently than what i'm used to. i had to send them back several times to find the right fit was looking for. most other brands, i get really good compression with a 2X but in these, i had to go with the 1X. for reference, i'm 5'8", 190lbs, 25.5" thighs and 40.5" hips and the 1X give me great compression and goof fit. i also like that they are longer than most. i have some that after a while shrunk up off the ankles. these have plenty of material and i'll not have to worry about that. i like that when i'm doing leg exercises that they aren't creeping up off my ankles. highly recommended!
