In my rush to install my HE220A bypass humidifier I forgot to install the transformer and burned the supplied solenoid valve. The OEM valve costs about $10 more. I ordered this and was able to install it. The only difference is that the bracket is on the opposite end. This meant the outlet did not line up with the rubber water inlet hole and the fitting had to be tilted slightly to avoid pinching the rubber hose. I also had to salvage the fittings from the old solenoid to match the pipe. used on HE220A. After really taking the time to make sure everything was set correctly, the magnet worked great in this application as well.
