Review on ⏱️ Digi 1st T-820 99 Minute Handheld Countdown Timer: Track Time Efficiently with Precision by Linda Lewis

I bought this because my wife said she needed a decent countdown timer for cooking and the previous timer we bought (from another company) had to be returned because it just didn't work. does not work well. This timer, on the other hand, seems easy to use, has a repeating alarm, and is loud enough to be heard. The timer has only four buttons: two to set the countdown time (minutes and seconds), one to start the timer. timer and one to reset. Everything works fine and I would give this timer 5 stars if there weren't three issues. Firstly, the timer only goes up to 99 minutes and 59 seconds, so if you need to measure something for 2 hours or more you need to do it sequentially, secondly, the speaker is on the back of the timer, so when you do it hanging around your neck, you must turn it backside out, otherwise you will not hear the timer. The third is related to the second question. The control buttons are very sensitive, and since the timer has to face backwards to be heard, the buttons press against your shirt when you hang it around your neck. If you accidentally stumble across it, you'll likely hit one of the buttons and affect the time. I accidentally paused the timer and didn't realize it until I thought the timer should have gone, but I didn't hear any sound. These issues are a little annoying, but not a big deal if the user is aware and treats the timer carefully. Given these conditions, I think the timer is a good buy for the price.
