Review on Monoprice High Speed HDMI Cable Camera & Photo and Video by Dave Hock

I'm using this between a Yamaha RXV-779 receiver and an Epson Powerlite 3000 home theater. Works great with a standard HD signal from a Sony Blu-ray player. I had an issue with the signal from our Tivo BOLT to Epson with an HDCP error, but I solved this issue by setting the receiver to only one HDMI output. I haven't had this problem with other cables, but since unplugging the other HDMI output solved it, I have to blame the receiver or the Tivo, not the cable. Both Tivo and Yamaha updated their firmware, so who knows what the problem was? I wish these manufacturers weren't so paranoid about someone copying their products, or at least had written an HDMI specification good enough that consumers weren't stuck with these bizarre incompatibilities.
