It doesn't even come close to wearing out, it just outgrows them. So we bought the next Kuner size and style. They feel softer, aren't as strong, and run a lot bigger, even if they're just a size up. My son is having a hard time fitting into the old couple but feels like he hasn't been growing up in this new couple for a while. In any case, they slip off his feet and, like I said, don't seem that durable.
