Perfect USB Hub for Raspberry Pi

It was bought for Raspberry Pi Model B. Model B Pi only has 2 USB ports, and that's just not enough. I intend to use the Pi as a digital oscilloscope, but to do that I need to connect: 1) a wireless mouse/keyboard dongle, 2) a Wi-Fi dongle, and 3) the digital oscilloscope itself. So don't kick the hub on. This hub is on the Raspberry Pi Compatibility List. This is a powered hub and comes with a power adapter. It's very compact, which is important since my Pi project needs to fit in a small case. It's also relatively inexpensive. So far I've found this hub to work great with the Raspberry Pi. I just plugged it in, hooked up all my stuff and it worked. One unexpected benefit of this particular hub that I wasn't expecting: you can use the hub to power the Raspberry Pi itself. I plugged the Pi's USB power cord into the last free port on the hub and it booted up and worked fine. As a result, one power supply less is required in this project. Bonus! The Belkin node is visible in the photo below right. It comes fully loaded and running with two dongles, an oscilloscope, and a Raspberry Pi right on top of it. The other board on the left is the controller for the small LCD screen that displays the BitScope software running on the Pi. By the way, an oscilloscope is a microoscilloscope and a BitScope analyzer A microoscilloscope and a BitScope analyzer. This is an incredibly cool Raspberry Pi peripheral. If this hub only had one port but was the exact same size I would give it 5 stars. Really deserves 4 1/2.
