The last ceramic you will ever need
Heavy and solid as good ceramic should be. Along with some quality kitchen gadgets, this will now be my go-to choice for wedding favors and housewarming. The exposed edges are nicely rounded so there is no chipping, if any. Slightly higher for things like scissors and small whisks, but better for spatulas, large whisks, silicone cooking spoons, etc. They don't fan out or get in the way. The ecru/beige color is lighter than expected. It matches the lightest cream tones of my travertine backsplash. Fairly neutral for a range of whites through to yellows and browns. LOVE IT!
