I bought this tape for a quick frame repair, around a gap between a wooden frame and a cardboard backing or a spacer filler used to fill a gap in a framing groove and to protect the back of photographs and prints.The effectiveness of the tape appears to depend heavily on the texture of the material it is holding covered, although it's not easy to determine the prerequisites. Sometimes it holds up well, and sometimes it starts peeling off almost immediately; sometimes it holds up no better than ordinary masking tape. This tape may work well for other carcass applications, but for carcass sealing ( what its stated purpose is) it should be used with caution Based on my experience with this material, three stars is a generous rating.
