Review on ✈️ VMSTR Travel Vacuum Storage Bags: Electric Pump, Medium & Small Space Saver Bags for Travel and Home Use by Carrie Robinson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The big black pump is very powerful and fast! Small not so much.

I tested the following 4 pumps: Black, Large, DC powered: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07JGMHP62/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1Black , detachable USB power supply via cable: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07KJJHWLP/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1White, power supply via connected USB cable: https://www.amazon.com/ gp/product /B07QCWW84T/ ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1Black, battery operated: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07T3P7Y8P/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 --- Overview Black Large DC powered - -- Largest black version of the pumps offered here, VERY powerful and fast! It removes 5-6 times faster than the small USB powered pumps and batteries offered by Revain. See photos for comparison. I did 2 experiments to see how long it takes to completely evacuate 2 different sets of bags: 1 minute - a medium sized bag with a flat pillow inside 5 minutes - a large bag with 1 flat pillow, a very large plump king-size pillows, 2 king-size sheets and a medium-sized duvet. Pros: Very fast, very powerful, removes all air from the bag. Cons: Large, bulky, heavy, and requires a proprietary DC wall adapter. to put it into action. However, it still fit easily in the side pocket of my backpack which I have traveled with on several international planes packed like this and had no problems. It just adds a little more bulk and weight. --- Overview of the Black Detachable USB Powered Cable --- This was related to the second fastest pump, but significantly smaller and slower at air removal than the large pump. with the same experiment. : 5 minutes - Medium bag filled as above. 28 minutes - The large bag is filled in the same way as above. Pros: Small, lightweight, detachable USB cable allows you to use a shorter or longer cable depending on your preference. air, compared to a large pump. --- Overview of the connected white USB cable with power supply: --- It was connected to the second fastest pump, same size as the small black pump. Using the same experiment: 5 minutes - A medium sized bag is filled in the same manner as above. 28 minutes. The large bag is filled in the same way as above. Pros: Small, lightweight, non-detachable USB cable (can't get lost). Pump, non-detachable USB cable (you cannot use a shorter cable, but you can lengthen it with a USB extension cable). --- Overview of Black Battery Powered --- It was the same size as the other two small USB powered pumps. He exhaled very, very slowly. I didn't do the same test because I gave up because it's so slow. However, it was probably the same speed as the two USB cables I tested now that I understand how slow they are. It was about the same. I can repeat the test in the future if I decide I need a battery powered pump. Pros: Battery powered, can run while charging, small size, light weight. Cons: Very slow bleed, battery will eventually run out after a few years.-- ----------------- - ----In general, I have a large pump for home use and you can even take it with you when you travel. I like the idea of using a lightweight 5x smaller pump. but I don't like the idea of it taking five times as long to assemble. The main reason is that when I travel most of the time I have to be in a hurry to catch a plane or a taxi somewhere. If I need to vacuum 5 bags with the large pump, it only takes me an average of 2.5 minutes per bag (using a combination of small, medium, large, and large bags), giving me just under 15 minutes to pack everything. my bags. The same download would take around 75 minutes to grab with small USB or battery powered pumps. which makes me unlikely to use them in reality. The only place I could use it is on the plane as I like to take pillows and blankets with me in the cabin. I could then vacuum it up before taking it off the plane and putting it back in my carry-on. This was not possible with the large pump as it has a plug-in power supply and the aircraft is only powered via USB or proprietary flat-panel jacks. I simply manually installed my vacuum bags and squeezed the air out as I got off the plane, which worked well enough to force them back into my carry-on. A little USB pump will make this process a lot easier though, lol. I think I could take one of the hand vacuum pumps on board, although they require a lot of physical stamina, they work quite quickly and efficiently. So I haven't decided yet whether I'll keep one of the little pumps. . It will either be black via USB or battery powered black when I do because of the swappable cable. While the USB-powered white pump was just as good, there has to be one deciding factor. I hope this review helps you choose a good vacuum pump!
