Yes - there are eight in the packaging plastic, but four of these pieces are called "grommets" and do NOT make a "corner joint". They are installed at the OUTSIDE CORNERS of your molded box. They are designed to compensate that one or more of the four PERIMETER rails are slightly shorter .allowing the molded perimeter to slide back and forth inside the box a bit. In this case, those four "spacers" are not "connectors": one pack makes four corners, no eight.
