These ATV gloves, mittens, handlebar covers, whatever you want to call them, are fantastic value for money. To be honest, I was surprised by the build quality. They have a soft, comfortable cotton lining that really seems to keep the heat off your hands. Cordura on the outside is very strong, the seams are very well finished. There is a zip at the inner gusset to allow for larger controls for use with heavier gloves. (Just leave it unzipped). The drawstring to tighten and secure the end to the handlebar is easy to use and keeps everything in place. It takes about 5 seconds to put on and take off each page. The lace on the lids is about 5 times longer than needed and I ended up cutting off about a foot. The downside to this is how tight they fit to the contour of the handlebars and controls. The material is quite hard so you have to be careful. I got back on my Polaris 570 after a stop and usually kept my quad high up so the covers were stiff enough to put pressure on the throttle when I leaned forward on the bars. Thank God there was nothing in front of me to testify to my panic. Ha. If I make a sharp turn, I have to be aware that the material is pressing on my hand and therefore on the throttle. It opens at the elbow of the cover, but the seams are so tight you can still feel the resistance. I wish there was a softer material on the arm and flex, but the stiffness makes it easy to slide my arms (5'8" with alligator arms and they almost reach my elbows) in and out easily, even with a heavy one A coat. They are actually 100% waterproof, which unfortunately has been tested twice. They are 112% windproof and I can ride comfortably without gloves all day in 35-40 degrees (I live in western Alabama so below 40 degrees is cold for me). hunting club. They're a bit stiff for tight turns on wooded trails, but I expect they'll soften over time. Watch the throttle and KNOW YOUR CONTROLS as they will be closed but do yourself a favor and get them. If your hands get cold behind the wheel of your ATV even though you know they're there, it's your fault.
