Review on Bridal Sash Belt with Rhinestone Applique, Crystals, Pearls - Sew-On or Glue for DIY Wedding Accessory by Amy Mcleod

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Far exceeded our expectations!

It was a lot better than we expected considering it was relatively cheap. My daughter ordered it to jazz up her navy blue prom dress which was pretty basic. It added just the right amount of bling while still looking classy. Her dress was a size 6 and her waist is almost 29 inches. It fits EXACTLY to the waist of the dress, both ends meet right at the back zipper. I was hoping to just iron it and be done, but then I got nervous that I might burn the fabric of her dress. So I used some fabric glue to place the center section exactly where I wanted it and then added a few stitches to reinforce it. NOTE: It was much easier to work with the silver iridescent thread than the sheer thread which was just twisted. Aaaaaa! It took me a while to figure it out and change the subject. Lesson learned. In addition, the silver thread was completely invisible against the background of jewelry. I worked section by section, leaving some sections unstitched to allow for some flexibility in some places. And since I honestly have terrible sewing skills, I was very happy when she came home after a long night with her seat belt fully on. The belt also came with an extra pouch of crystal beads, but we had no issues with missing beads or even beads falling out during my rough sewing. So he seems pretty strong.

Pros
  • Usage Method - Iron-On / Heat Fix / Sew-On Crystal Applique, Hot Glue Backing, Eco-Friendly.
Cons
  • Long delivery time
