These knee pads have more cushioning but in the wrong places. a ball of foam under my knee pads and I roll to the side. There are two layers of foam, so I cut out a large round hole and channel for the kneecap and lower leg. Now they wiggle a little better, but it's still not very good. The rest of the design seems good. Plastic clips, metal buttons. The bottom strap is ribbon, the top elastic.
