I guess many will give this a 5 star rating. Not me. I like it, but it's not as strong at the reinforcement where the wire enters the brick and at the other end where it meets the 'blade'. It's about the same as what came with my Microsoft Surface 3 laptop, which makes it good enough, but it needs heavier reinforcements on the ends of the cable because I reckon I'll be seeing raw in nine months. wires, and possibly a short, then fails. In all other respects this is a great, reliable charger that gets the job done. The brick gets warm but not hot, so it's not overstressed or anything. The overall lifespan of this depends on how long the wires last before they fail at the endpoints. Simply put, it gets at least a four for these features because it has good amperage and is a lot cheaper than the Microsoft replacement, of which it's actually a clone.
