I bought it, I liked it! It's all a piece of glass. When I bought it our temperature was above 70-80. At night it got colder and dropped to 50 degrees. The room I keep this in is particularly cold and it's on a cold metal table. When I got up early in the morning to work at my desk, I heard the sound of glass breaking! I checked my hourglass, nothing out of the ordinary. Then I turned it over to start it and the sand didn't come out the other side. He made a few more noises. I came back later and it has a crack in the bottom! Great hourglass but the glass is very thin. I think the temperature and pressure change in the hourglass was too great for such a thin glass and it cracked. Sad day.
