Doctor couplers seemed to work pretty well. Tip: You may need to bend the saddle of the collar to make it tighter. When I first put them in the oven they looked a little fluffy. You also need a way to pinch the doctor working on the duct cuff. We ended up using 4" band cuffs. Ties can work too.
