Technological advances especially in the area of computing, increasingly bring us items of great utility, which become part of almost everyday accessories, such is the case of this small usd adapter device capable of receiving and amplifying wifi signal to our pc, it is a plug and play device that connect and you have its functionality to amplify the wifi signal.

first of all I must warn from my own experience that these USB devices are a bit delicate, to disconnect you must first eject the device, just as you do with the pendrive, the practice of connecting and disconnecting too often can burn the device rendering it useless, it has already happened to me with a device like this and with a wireless keyboard adapter, it is best to select a USB port for exclusive use and leave it connected permanently while its use is required,

Use cases for this device

β€’ The most common is to use as a wifi signal amplifier receiver with its adapted antenna. If the wifi signal you have is low, possibly you have the wifi router a little distant from the computer to which you want to enter with wifi signal to internet, when connecting you will have the signal with better reception and amplified, for this you connect as the device comes directly to a USB port.

β€’ - Take wifi signal emitted by an antenna distant from the location of the pc, this is a very useful use case and has given me good results, I have another house at a distance of approximately 3 kilometers in which I have no internet or wifi signal, * - Take wifi signal emitted by an antenna distant from the location of the pc, this is a very useful use case and has given me good results, I have another house at a distance of approximately 3 kilometers in which I have no internet or wifi signal,

The Ubiquiti M2 antenna will radiate the wifi signal and can be picked up by my external flat antenna that is connected to the Techkey AC1300Mbps Wireless Network Adapter. This works perfectly and is a great solution when I want to have wifi signal in a distant place where there is no signal at all.

Besides it has worked for me personally, I have also advised other people to make the same installation and the result has always been satisfactory, the only requirement apart from having all the necessary material is that the two antennas the ubiquiti M2 and the flat antenna must be placed at a certain height and that both devices are oriented and with few obstacles, if you can see one and the other better.

Let's see graphically how the installation would be
