Review on 🎨 YURROAD Paper Quilling Kit - Complete with 1740 Strips, Tools, and Storage Box by Linda Diaz

I've neglected my inner artist for too long. I saw a ready made quilling paper pattern online and thought it was so pretty, so I decided to get a set and give it a try. As a beginner, this kit was more than enough to get you started. After having had and using it for a while, I can't imagine what else is needed even as I develop my skills. The patterns/instructions in the kit didn't work for me because they weren't in English, but I watched YouTube videos to learn some basics. As with anything new, there is a learning curve, but I was able to get started right away after watching a few videos. Here are some other things I didn't know that might help someone else. 1. Be You' By following one of the templates in the set or creating your own templates, the lightweight pillow will help you follow your template and position the paper in the right place. 2. There are special craft glue, which should be transparent after drying, help you keep your work clean. I bought 3 types of glue after reading how good they are for quilling, but the only glue that dries out and doesn't show up in my drawings is good old Elmer glue. 3. You really need good lighting in your workplace. I bought a table lamp to complement the light in my home. 4. To spread the glue evenly on the underside of the paper strips, apply a thin layer of glue to a surface such as a frisbee or large yogurt lid, and then spread the glue thinly. As you dip the paper into the glue, try to apply it evenly so that the entire surface is covered at once. 5. Too little glue is better than too much! I hope these tips are helpful.
