I am well beyond the baby years, my youngest is 8, I needed a bag to carry essentials for trips to the park or drives to the mountains and still have little things on hand. Suffice to say there’s room and then some. I carry around a small can of sunscreen, lens wipes, my wallet, snacks for her and her 12oz water bottle, bug spray wipes…lotion, and there’s ample room for more. I can see this being a good bag for maybe a single person or a couple of adults hiking but I do still opt for a backpack in true day-trip situations. That being said I’m really in love with this item, and as someone with a very large chest I appreciate how the rope sits above my boobs unlike a regular crossbody bag. I also really like the rope material, it’s pretty shocking how comfortable it is. Overall a great bag that multitasks really well and can carry everything you need to have at the ready. I’m contemplating another color just on principle since I opted for a plain black bag, I like it that much.
