Review on Canon EOS 6D Body camera, black by Michal Kucharski ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

A good quality product, I rate this purchase perfectly.

I read all the reviews, I want to add my observations to what no one focused on. About the usefulness of Wi-Fi. The app for iOS is poor - only for iPhone. Why do you need such an application? It would seem to view (and delete unnecessary) photos. The idea is great: instead of a 3-inch camera screen, we get a normal 10-inch iPad screen, on which everything is much better visible - time; which is more convenient to hold in your hands - two. A camera in a bag or backpack. The implementation is terrible. Tiny picture on the tablet. to increase twice - it is useless, definition is not added. Loads slowly. There is no app for iPad. And why view these same pictures on an iPhone, brutally discharging both the camera and the phone? The size is about the same, the slowness infuriates. On android, I checked it only for a 4.8" screen - in general, everything is ok, but each photo takes about 3 seconds to load. A lot .

Pros
  • Capacious battery + economical camera = long life from one battery. According to the CIPA standard, this camera seems to be able to shoot 1090 frames. I read the standard, the main difference between my shooting and the standard is shooting in RAW. CIPA says that there should be factory settings (obviously, JPEG in min. Compression). In my experience, the camera takes 2500-3000 frames from one battery, lenses are 24-105 f / 4 and 135 f / 2. This is with infrequent views, deletions and just a couple of videos. On this point - a great offset! Turned on Wi-fi eats 28% per day, turned on GPS another 15%, turned on GPS-logger every 2 minutes (less than once every 5 minutes - you can't) - another 15%. That is, with the included options - autonomy is sharply reduced. If you want to shoot, shoot. If you want jeepies, stock up on batteries. ================== In general, the camera is great!
Cons
  • Inconvenient delete button. There is nothing to add. Uncomfortable "twist" under the thumb. In theory, this wheel should be the most easily accessible in order to change exposure compensation, scroll through the footage, and navigate through the menu with a flick of the finger. But no! kenon ergonoms, their mother, encroached on the sacred, not only reducing the twist, but also putting the multi-position joystick key inside. Thus, they left only a tiny edge of the wheel for the big (BIG! ) finger. By God, under what inch is this made? Look at 5dm2, 5dm3, even the old 40d! Fast. Comfortable.
