Review on 🌶️ Bazaar Anatolia Pepper Grinder: Premium Turkish Spice Mill in Antique Copper (4.2") by Hector Mak

Beautiful mill with nice details, almost perfect

I love the look of this pepper mill. It's actually nicer than the pictures. The copper/bronze finish is engraved with a beautiful design and will add warmth to any kitchen. It is easy to hold and the knob on the sharpening handle rotates for easy sharpening. It has a good grind, not too fine, but fine to medium. I love that it comes in a drip tray to hold the pepper after it's been crushed. (Though you can grind peppers straight from the pepper grinder straight into your food without using a bowl.) A proper spoon comes in handy for scooping ground peppers out of the bowl and loading whole peppercorns into the keg. a bit disappointed with the opening to load whole peppercorns. It's very narrow, and if you're using a 5-pepper mix that has allspice or larger peppers, some of the kernels may not fit in unless you cut them in half by hand. Another thing that disappointed me is that even though the pepper mill is 3 or 4 inches tall, the grinder is about 1/3 down from the top, meaning the pepper mill shaft is only about 1 1/4" - 1 1/2" deep for whole peppercorns. If you cook a lot or use a lot of pepper, it's quite cumbersome as it needs to be refilled frequently. Despite the downsides of a narrow feed opening and less than expected storage space for whole peppers, this is a relatively high-quality grinder that's easy to hold, easy to grind, and a pleasure to look at.
