I liked it but thought I could afford the original so I bought the Glidecam 4000. . .and didn't like it that much. I ended up going with the $800 DGS Glidecam and I like it best, but I returned the 4000 and kept this Flycam as a backup. It's not as strong and durable as the DGS, but it works well and the mounting system is great. It's very annoying that other Glidecams don't have a quick edit system and unless you want to afford the rather high price tag of DGS I would recommend you buy this one. As others will tell you, it takes some practice and more forearm and shoulder strength than you would expect, but it makes for a much more interesting video than anything I've done with tripods. BTW I shoot with a Canon 5D Mk IV and it works great; Autofocus works well, and while the camera body and 16-35 or 24-105 zoom are a bit cumbersome, it works well.
