The original left bumper on my son's controller broke so I ordered this replacement part. I've never owned an Xbox One controller, but I worked as an equipment repair technician and industrial maintenance mechanic for many years. After watching a few YouTube videos on how to disassemble an Xbox One controller, I realized I shouldn't have any trouble installing this part, so I went ahead and ordered it. The first part I received seems to fit very well, but the left side didn't work as intended with the switch. Long story short, after deleting and reinstalling this new part a few times, setting it aside and watching again on day two, I've come to the conclusion that something I just couldn't see went with the new part , which I received, does not have to be correct . I ended up ordering a second part from the same company and the second part worked perfectly the first time. When I disassembled the Xbox One controller before I wasn't sure if I was doing something wrong or if I had a faulty new part. The new part turned out to be the culprit, but the second replacement part I ordered worked perfectly. Now I will try to return the first part.
