I wish I hadn't given it a star. I started with freshly blow-dried hair, already quite straight but curly. The small combs on this straightener make it very difficult to thread hair. The device itself is really small and cheap. After doing this twice for 30 minutes, much longer than with my regular flat iron, my hair looked the same as it did after blow drying. Still fluffy and wavy. I'll send it back immediately.
