Review on 📬 ARCHITECTURAL MAILBOXES 4x4 Steel 7540B-10 Mailbox Adapter Plate - Black, 4x4 Inch Size by Drew Panah

Ordered Architectural Mailboxes from Wayfair. We thought it would come with a plate adapter. I think we didn't read the description carefully enough. It came very quickly. It's fairly easy to install, but if you're using it with this company's large mailboxes on a horizontal post rather than the end of the post, the top screw used when screwing the sides of the adapter plate into the wood post will need to be screwed in. 95% of the way before you install the mailbox (if using a drill - unless you have a very long #2 truss head) as there is no gap to get into the small hole to tighten it. When you've almost fully inserted it, you can finish it off with a screwdriver if you've pre-drilled a hole for this screw. The side panels cannot be screwed all the way into the rack, or the screws in the panel itself do not match the holes in the side panels.
