This adapter connects to a dual-display 5K monitor

He is very well built. This excellent HBR3 DisplayPort 1.4 USB-C adapter works great over my laptop's DisplayPort 1.4 USB-C Alternate Mode port. As you'd expect, it does get warm when sending 5K or 8K signals. This was a great purchase after a long search for a HBR3 DisplayPort 1.4 USB Type-C to Dual DisplayPort adapter for my 5K monitor and I am very grateful that I got it at a very reasonable price. The bonus HDMI port is nice too. Thank you Cable Matters. (It simultaneously drives a 5K monitor at 60Hz and a 1440p HDMI monitor at 120Hz with no lag or issues!) Can't speak to 100W charging, I don't have any compatible devices with it.
