I didn't expect these to arrive vacuum sealed in a thick plastic pouch, which is great because it prevented a lot of fallout during shipping. I wanted these to layer in with other faux Christmas garlands to give them some bulk and texture, and I think they will fit the bill. They definitely need a little bit of fluffing up and time to sort of 'open out' after being wrapped so flat and tight in the box - don't expect these to be usable right out of the box without a bit of 'zhuzh-ing up'. In terms of how real they look, as this will be layered in my eventual DIY I am not too concerned, but if you were going to use these alone they do look relatively faux. The color is spot on though, they almost have a bit of a 'dried' look to them like if you were to leave real cut eucalyptus leaves out for some time. I'm very happy with them overall and I think they will look great when winter comes around.
