The product does what it is designed to do. Really great that you need a key to disable the alarm. Use of the product on an emergency door in a warehouse. Loud enough to hear over 40,000 square feet. Couldn't attach a small piece to the metal door frame but I used some Gorilla Super Glue and it works great. Watch the Detex EAX-500 installation on YouTube for an installation tutorial video. Much better than paper instructions
