They're very cute - no bigger than a ping pong ball or something - and are technically made from useable yarn if you intend to knit or crochet them. However, please note that despite the name, the yarn contains absolutely no bamboo fibers and the quality of the yarn is quite low. Maybe you should assume that with the price, but the so-called yarn really reminded me more of trying to crochet cheap yarns. ie does not exist at all, keeps splitting, tangles easily, does not shine etc. I got this because I only needed a small amount of different colors and didn't want to buy whole skeins so it served my purpose. But even for that price I really doubt it was worth it.
